Did You Know

Cavalor FiberForce is a high-fibre mix with long fibre lengths for healthy stomach and bowel function. This low-sugar (5%), low-starch (3%) mix helps keep blood glucose and insulin levels down, and is safe for horses susceptible to metabolic disorders.

Contains a balanced mix of lucerne (8%), teff, and beet pulp. Extra fibre aids digestion and helps to prevent gastrointestinal problems. Contains pre- and probiotics to support gut flora and to generally promote a healthy bowel. With extruded cereals for good digestion – no whole grains.

Crude fiber as an engine for the intestines. Crude fiber is the indispensable pacesetter for the intestines and allows for a gradual release of energy. The crude fiber in Fiber Plus comes from high quality sources of cellulose such as alfalfa stems, spelt and line fibers. Crude fibers also stimulate the production of vitamin B in the large intestine.

Active yeast for a smooth digestion. Live yeast cultures promote acid-using bacteria in the large intestine and stimulate a healthy gut flora. It thus ensures an optimal efficiency of the feed. Yeast Plus as ideal support of a smooth intestinal passage.

Stimulates feed ingestion, increases saliva secretion and promotes digestion.

How to use

For good nutrition, your horse needs roughage (spread out over several times a day) and a constant supply of fresh drinking water. This foundation can be supplemented with a balancer or concentrate feed as needed. And fine-tune your horse’s diet with supplements #feedasyouneed

Feeding recommendations for Cavalor FiberForce:
We recommend a minimum of 500 g and maximum 2000 g per 100 kg body weight per day. For a 600 kg horse this means a minimum of 3 kg and a maximum of 12 kg per day. Divide the concentrate feed over several portions per day, preferably after feeding roughage.

Tip: not all feed scoops are the same size. Weigh the contents of your feed scoop so that you know exactly how much your horse is getting

Life Saver

Thank you Cavalor for your great Fibre Force product. I used several of your products in combination, throughout my 26 year old ponys’ recent severe bout of laminitis due to Cushings/EMS. These products I believe were all life savers. I cannot tell you how close we came to having him pts. 6 months on, he has grown a new hoof under the old one and we hope he continues great progress, fingers crossed. This product will remain one of my staples at our Connemara Stud. Thank you.

All my horses love it, all watching waistline.

We have a really fussy eater so I wasn’t hopeful! From the first day of feeding this the bowl was clean. A little bit goes a long way, makes her chew her feed rather than boltIng it, and she’s a lot happier for it.

Have been feeding this to my insulin resistant pony for approximately 6 months. He’s never really enjoyed hard feed, opting for his hay. He loves this and it has all the balanced vitamins and minerals in it he needs. At only 8% starch and sugar, A great feed for all his requirements without the addition of anything else except forage. His coat is really shiny even in winter. Would recommend this product.

Great find, great food.

Having spent hours researching horse feeds with low sugar/starch for my 2 PPID Shetland ponies, finally came upon Cavalor FiberForce - and what a find! A really 'interesting' mix, which the ponies much prefer to boring fibre nuts, and with a combined sugar/starch of only 8% it is far better than many of the [more well known brands] so-called 'safe' products for PPID/laminitis prone ponies and horses, which often have a sugar/starch content of over 15%. Also great that it is a complete feed, so no need to buy additional chaff etc. Highly recommend. (Photo of ponies - not sweaty - just had a bath! but hopefully shows their great condition. Not bad for 20 and 25 years old!)
